Oh my idiot box...

The idiot box - my companion since young. It left great footprints in my growing up years

It taught me the world was once black and white before colours took over later. Since mom didn't really allow me to play with the neighbors' kids and my sister only came out when i was 11 years old, my childhood was spent mostly with my faithful companion. I remember it was onced called Toshiba, then Panasonic and most recent, Samsung. But Samsung and i shared a long-distance relationship. Its tough, i only see 'it' a few months once for a while. Oh how i miss you my dear idiot box...life has never been the same since Aemy took you away 2 months ago.

My laughter has decreased at home here, so have my tears and the colours, fading. I miss you so much Samsung...

Yes i admit, i'm an idiot box addict...so much so that my dad had to hide the remote at one point of time during my school exams period. Well...Panasonic's not that dumb, it can still function without the remote as contrast to what my dad thought. He never found out anyway. Panasonic and i shared the most memories together and definately helped my grades tremendously in essay writings and karangan.

P Ramlee and chinese dramas with my peranakan grandma, english and action shows with my dad and all other genres with me and myself. Oh how fun those times were...and indeed Toshiba and Panasonic has helped me broaden my knowledge, communication skills, travelling to places i've never heard or seen, increase my creativity plus ability to be silly and more. I never believed in tuitions, what for? I had the best 'teacher'! Panasonic taught me English, cantonese and a little mandarin.

Samsung...i'll be back in July!!!
Now, to my second addiction- books
