From the Pearl Of The Orient...

Im back in penang...been a week plus.

Im actually back here for good...after almost 6 years away. Things have changed quite a bit...externally, my parents are older. Dad retired 2 days ago and sis is now taller than me. But I supposed the change most, is not what is external...but the change within my heart. A heart that yearned to stay away as much as possible from my home, a heart that wouldn't want to return home if given a choice...has now decided to come home because the heart has learnt much over the years - that no matter how broken a family is, it's still family. A heart that knows how important it is to be by your parents after going through the deaths of 2 grandparents...but still maybe this heart may fail at times. Prayers needed to keep it strong ;)

Will start work after Raya, haven't decided on a church, visiting a few in mind first. So life's a bit sien at times but it's great spending time with family although I travel between 2 places everyday as Im staying with my aunt for now, temporary arrangement.

Great news..mom's been going to church although I think she is just attending and most times, does not understand the sermons. But its a great start and dad didn't make a fuss at all. Sis is slowly expressing interest in attending church too but still a bit reserved, unless she feels comfortable with friends around. After all, she's only 14...

My journey in penang has began, although on a slow pace for now. There are times I miss the 'family' i had in KL but those times, they always remain a sweet memory and encouraged me of how faithful God has been. The journey here is diffreent altogether but I believe, my God is the same faithful God
