The Malaysian Revival Songwriting Competition (MRSC) is an annual songwriting contest whose mission is to provide the opportunity for both aspiring and established songwriters to have their songs heard in national and international arena. MRSC is designed to nurture the musical talent of songwriters on all levels, and promote originality and excellence in the art of songwriting . Amateur and professional songwriters are invited to participate. MRSC has the most prestigious panel of judges of songwriting contests in Malaysia and Asia Pacific, offering exposure and the opportunity to have original songs heard by the most influential decision-makers in the music industry. The outpouring of original songs is called Revival Music
