Come sit a while with me...

There are two favourite spots in Penang where I usually sit a while to ponder, read and journal. It is at these spots where I find God most audible. This morning, I was there. I needed to be there because I needed to hear.

Why do I keep a journal? I once read from a book and the author puts it beautifully. I couldnt have done better than him, so I quote

"The most important reason for keeping a journal is that every now and then God shows up.
Reading the moments of our day helps us to see Him when He does. Reflecting on those moments helps us to hear what He is saying. Responding to those moments is a way of losing our life so we can find the life He wants us to have.
When we live like that, the moments of our days become a confession of our Faith, that God is our Master and we are His servants, put here to do His Will"

Let me first begin by testifying that God is indeed faithful to His Words and when He does open a door to your prayers, He does it generously, in His own perfect Time & Will. My search for a job has ended :) To God be all Glory
One promised a bright career ahead in media, one of the best company one could dream of to work for in Malaysia
One is God's Gracious Answer to my prayers, both audible and in silence, my deepest desires to be a part of its work.
I have made my choice, it wasn't hard but neither was it easy. I think it's more of asking myself how do I want my life to count and what is closest to my heart?

Don't be afraid to dream, to pray and to ask God for what you desire. Don't give up when your prayers are not answered because sometimes, you ordered a 'special sauce' in a fast food world, it takes a while to get it prepared. When it is served, be ready to consumed it while it is still hot. I got rejected twice last year and I know if it be God's Will, He will come through when the time is right. I have not been in the best behaviour to deserve this blessing, and so I learnt, this life is really not about me but about Christ who giveth to whom He chosed.

Thank You God. All Glory is His Name Alone.
