A card can touch a heart...mine at least

I received a card posted to me upon my return from Kota Bharu. There was a picture on the cover and the words began..

"I have come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free

For this journey that we must all take
And each must go alone
It's all part of the master's plan
A step on the road to home

Miss me a little - but not too long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love we once shared
Miss me - but let me go"
- Philippians 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain

Then I open up the card, the words continued...

"Grace in flight
descending toward
A heart in urgent need
To which it gives
from where it came
Something only
A heart can receive"

And continuing on the next page

"In our hour of need
You came to our side
And gave a part of you
You touched our hearts (and mommy's)
With your kindness and love.

For every word of comfort and cheer,
For every silent prayer and loving support,
For your kind presence, floral tributes, assistance and care
during our recent bereavement,
Thank you so,so much

Sincerely yours,
Ellsy & Mook San"

My first mail received at my new address and I have a feeling, this mail will have a special place in my heart. My condolences to you and your family, Lee Choo (Ellsy). This card is very sweet, to take the effort to post it to me was even sweeter. You need not have to, really. I only did what an ordinary person would do this older post
