It's been 49 days.
This is a part of being Chinese. What more when I hail from Penang, the land where idol worships rule.
But I don't bow down to idols, I don't burn the joss sticks, I don't eat food being worship to idols, I don't take part in rituals. I am only there to pay my respect to amah. I take pictures. And my family knows. They separate out the food for me, what is edible and what is not.
Praise God.
